To all you "Twilight" fans out there...

Okay... I'm going to say something here... and before you all freak out on me... let me clarify. I think the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer are really, really good books. I think she is an amazing author and paints an amazing picture in her reader's head. I am definetly a fan of her writing... However there are a few things that I don't feel like I can just jump on the bandwagon like everyone else about.

I am not an Edward fan... (in the way everyone other female in this world seems to be.) I'm not saying that it's somewhat endearing how much he seems to "care" for Bella. But if you ask me, he acts more obsessed with her than actually in love. Plus, I find him rather boring and predictable. I realize he's "exciting" because he's a vampire, but perfection is just mind-numbingly boring. (Just my opinion) Remember to breathe during this okay? (There's a lot more of this kind of stuff, so if you are one of those die-hards out there, I suggest you quit reading now.)

...nor am I a Jacob fan. I think that he really does love her, but his tactics are nothing short of arrogant and immature. I do like the fact that he treats her more like someone he's interested in (no matter how juvenile his actions/thoughts are) rather than someone he simply worries about all the time, like a father figure. (much like Edward does) Once again... just my opinion. Remember to breathe.

For that matter... I'm not even a Bella fan. The girl flipping drives me up a wall. I do find her little quirks and clumsiness endearing qualities, but truth be known I wish someone would just finish her off already. Seriously. I can't believe that SHE was willing to let Edward's entire family and Jacob and his pack fight to keep HER alive while SHE made Edward stand back and watch as well because SHE couldn't stand losing him. She is completely selfish and she needs to get some guts already. Come on girl!!!!

I do sympathize with her in that she does love both Edward and Jacob and it does truely suck on her part to have to hurt Jacob. The whole love-triangle is amusing, but those of you in my family know my issues with that whole thing. Augh!!!

Okay... now that I've sounded off. I'll say this... I have not read Breaking Dawn yet. (Amazon and I are not agreeing on some things!) It is very possible that some if not all of these things could get cleared up during the final book and I could become another crazed Edward or Jacob fan like the rest of the world, but until then.... that's where I stand. Once again... remember to breathe!!! It's only one person's opinion.
