So... I thought that I came out the victor on the Christmas light battle, but it turns out that those pesky little lights had some tricks up there sleeve. Yes, everything I said in my last post was true. We battled, they came on, life was good, etc... yet somehow again today I was out on a ladder checking extention cords, fuses, bulbs, and outlets. (I looked pretty sweet carting a radio around and plugging it into every outlet on the premesis.)
Let me back up... I went to plug the lights in last night, ('Tis the season, right?) and the blasted icicles wouldn't come on! The rockin' H was good, and even my arch nemasis the snow globe sprung to life, but not the icicles. *Sigh!* Not the icicles.
So my victory was short lived. Kinda like that feeling you get when it's a tied ball game and your team scores with two seconds to go on the clock. (Great feeling right?) Then someone from the opposing team throws up a full court, hail mary, pull something out of your ass shot..........
.....and drains it.
(Oh... well. Maybe next year.)

You are a nut! Thanks for trying to light up our part of the neighborhood. And STOP CUSSING! (She learned that from her dad) By the way, is that "Christmas Music" I'm hearing on your blog?
Haha... yes mom... to both accounts. 1) I did learn that from dad 2) it is Christmas music! Thanks for the post!
I'm sorry to hear that the Christmas lights kicked your butt. Can I just say I love listening to the music on here! I love that you have that Alvin and the Chipmunks song. Memories (in fact I can remember you singing the hula-hoop part like it was yesterday).
Well I was thinking I would be getting a picture of the project of yours. I use to love driving by and seeing the rockin h! I guess I will make a spacial trip by just to see :)
Sam...I'm still waiting for your comeback. You aren't going to let the lights WIN are you? Cuz if you are...well...I just don't know who you are anymore;)
