Honeymoon in Oregon (The G-rated stuff): We flew into Portland then drove (thanks again Marshal for letting us use your car!!!) about an hour west to Cannon Beach. Levi had gotten us a room at this cute little place called the Inn at Cannon Beach. I loved this place!!! The coast was only like a block away and it was so pretty!
This stretch of beach was our favorite. Behind me is Haystack rock. (Holla! to all you Goonies fans out there.) The beach was so flat! I felt like you could run straight out into the ocean and not go in over your head for a good mile! (This theory was proven false)
This was the sweetest little unknown find! (Thanks for the tip Marshal!) This is the shipwreck of the Peter-something-or-other, (if forgot the whole name) from way back when! During low tide you can walk right out and climb on it!!! It was so cool!!!
Fishing @ Kausi (I think that's how you spell it.): We took an afternoon to go fishing and wound up finding this little gem up a ways from Huntsville. Not much beach to sit on... but fun if you could avoid falling in. :)
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!
We caught three fish... three very little fish... but fish none-the-less!
Oquirrah Mountain Temple Open-House (Jamie, Levi and I + 2 really hot girls): Karly and Katie came up and stayed with Jamie... who surprised them with a trip to the Oquirrah Mountain Temple Open House (where Levi and I met them) then we all went to a Raptors game in Ogden. It was so much fun to have them all stay with us!
The whole crew. (I wish I had a picture of my carrying Karly back out to the car! So funny!!! Next time car... lose the heels! Haha!)
Sno-cone anyone?
Fishin' with the Fevs (minus Libby and Lesha... boo to work and... Lesha, where were you?): On our way down to Kanab for the 4th of July we stopped in to see Levi's family. We made a quick trip up the road to Tropic Resivoir for a little fishing. (Layne... I STILL maintain you were using corn! Nobody can catch that many fish in that short amount of time!)
Layne putting back one of his hundred catches... can anyone say corn? It was never proven... but I maintain he cheated somehow!!!
Leslie and her cute fam. Lainey definetly won the prize for best rock thrower... I think Tropic Res rose about an inch from all the rocks she threw in! :)
Re-tiling old tile (does that even make sense?): Long story short... when we moved into our new apartment there were some "home imporvements" that needed to be done. Priority #1: Get the upstairs bathroom tub to quit leaking down to the downstairs ceiling. Not only were the tiles leaking, but when the tenants before us re-calked it, they sealed in all the water and it rotted out the dry wall!!! Good things Levi's handy!!!
Too bad we didn't figure out the tiles were slightly different sizes until AFTER they were all pulled off and Levi was in the middle of trying to "puzzle piece" them back on. Poor guy. But he did it!
Days of '47 Rodeo (Yee-haw!): The LeFevre's were able to come up and go to the Days of '47 Rodeo with Levi and I. It was so much fun! I hadn't been to it in years and the LeFevre's had never gone. It was a blast. President Monson and his wife were even there the night we went. They were sitting right below us in the box seats. He thought the monkey that rode the dog was histarical!
Awe... this one's for you Angie.
Not too bad of seats. (President Monson was sitting in the box in the lower right hand corner of this picture... the bar is blocking him though.)
Well... that's about it. The all-inclusive, get you back up to date, blog is complete! Now you know all the boring details that is our life. :)

Loved the Photos Sam, looks like you've been having a lot of fun. My friend here in Philly is from Oregon and said he's been to a lot of those places you took. LOVED the Goonies photo!
Boring? It looks like a lot of fun to me. Do you think you could email me that picture of the temple open house with Karly and Katie? Thanks! :)
