We had the opportunity to completely remake a condo for a friend of a friend. (It's a complicated dynamic... don't worry about it.) He rented it for like 10 years and now is getting ready to sell it. Have you ever seen a place that has been rented for 10 years? It's gross. Trust me.
We did all new, 2-toned paint all throughout (including painting all closets and doors), all new flooring (carpet and vinyl), cleaned EVERYTHING! (I really mean everything.) I even had to take the ceiling fan apart to clean it... hey... old renters, ever heard of a dust rag?
Anyways here are some before and after pictures.

Kitchen: New flooring, (fyi: vinyl is beyond a pain in the butt to remove, but if your ever wondering what hell will be like... go ahead and give it a try), new countertops, and a deep cleaning for all appliances.

Bedroom1: this is the smaller of the two bedrooms.

Bathroom: new countertop, sub-floor, and vinyl flooring. Levi tore out the old sub-floor and put in a new one, as well as installing the new countertop. (Sometimes I feel like I'm married to Tim-the-tool-man Taylor.) :)

Living Room: you can't really tell from the pictures... but the initial carpet (which was once a light cream color) was black. It looked like someone with muddy shoes had run all over it... every day... for 10 years. Awesome.
Well the pictures don't really do it justice... but if we ever get the opportunity to re-make a house of our own... we'll be all set. The bonus was that I did get to work along-side the hubster for a couple of weeks. It's nice to get to see one another every so often.... even if it is when we're both covered in paint, dirt, and carpet remnants. Ahhh... romance.

You guys are awesome!! Looks like it was a lot of hard work!
You two are pretty good! I'm impressed. Also, I think Levi is more like Al, not Tim the Tool Man, he doesn't destory things. Ha, ha! :)
