Yey! I donated blood today! I always get so excited when I'm able to donate blood. (Especially since the first 2 times I tried I had low iron levels. Boo!) I actually really like to go a donate... except for the waiting. And, it's not the "before you get in the chair" waiting... for me, it's the "while you're in the chair" waiting. It always takes me so long to fill up that stupid bag! Three old ladies got hooked up after me and were done before me. Three!!! One actually came over after she was done, patted me on the arm (the one without the needle stuck in it), and said, "It's ok honey, your tiny little veins are working as hard as they can."
Haha... did I mention I also love the old ladies who are alway at the blood drives. :) Good day.

Oh those ladies sound cute! Yeah i love old ladies too, my ward is pretty much made up of them. Your lucky you can donate blood, I wish I could but my unfortunate weight will not allow it, and my stubborn lightheadedness.

We must be related. I have the same problem when I donate but I still love it!
